After a conversation with a fascinating individual, I was shown myself from another reality. In it, I was wearing this. I believe it to be a portable version of Cerebro. Do you think this would be at all possible to construct?
[ Hank is just folding laundry when Charles' voice enters his mind, so he sets down what he's doing and sits on the edge of his bed. The mental image of the helmet is... interesting. Definitely unlike anything Hank's seen before. ]
A portable Cerebro? [ He gives the idea some consideration. ] With the proper power source and computing power, I don't see why it wouldn't be possible to build. Not here, obviously. But back home, in the future. Given the technological level of some of the people I've met here, something like a portable Cerebro would definitely not be outside the realm of possibility.

No-- you're likely right. I haven't seen any real evidence of higher technology here, outside of these Leafs we were given, and some small appliances. But would you mind keeping an eye out for any potential to build something like that? A portable Cerebro could be an immensely helpful tool here.
Charles. It's not even possible to build a ham radio, here. We may as well be in the stone age.
[ Going straight from 'no technology' to 'technology beyond anything Hank has ever built' is a tall ask. As much as he would do anything for Charles, even he has to admit he has some limits. ]
I'll keep my eyes and ears open to anything that might lead towards progress in that area, but I wouldn't keep your hopes up.
